This Privacy Policy explains how Seedswap ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile puzzle game. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. Seedswap does not require you to create an account, and we collect only the minimal data necessary to provide and improve the game experience.

1. Information We Collect

Seedswap collects the following types of information:

Game Progress Data (stored locally on your device)

Levels completed and star ratings earned
In-game currency balances (coins, gems, lives)
Power-up inventory (hints, golden seeds, boosters)
Daily login streak and reward history
Game settings (sound and haptics preferences)

        This data is stored entirely on your device using AsyncStorage and is not transmitted to our servers, except as described below.
      

Referral Code Data (stored on our servers)

A randomly generated 6-character referral code assigned to your game session
Referral claim records (which codes were used and when)

This data is anonymous — it is not linked to your name, email address, or any personally identifying information.

Purchase Information

If you make in-app purchases, transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription and purchase status. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase identifiers. We do not store your payment details. Please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more information.

Advertising

Seedswap may display rewarded advertisements through third-party ad networks (such as AdMob). These networks may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely to:

Save and restore your game progress
Operate the referral reward system
Verify and fulfill in-app purchases and subscriptions
Serve rewarded advertisements (if applicable)
Improve game performance and fix bugs

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

RevenueCat: For processing and validating in-app purchases and subscriptions
Ad Networks: For serving rewarded video advertisements (device-level identifiers only)
Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Game progress data is stored locally on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. Referral code data stored on our servers is retained for a maximum of 12 months to support the reward system, after which it is automatically deleted.

5. Children's Privacy

Seedswap is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Our game does not require account creation, does not collect names or email addresses, and does not enable direct communication between users.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at the address below and we will promptly delete it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

Access: Request a copy of any data we hold about you
Deletion: Request deletion of your referral data from our servers

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the limited data we collect. Game progress is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's own security. Server-side referral data is stored securely and accessible only to our team.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Seedswap after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
